Ujamaa Center implements projects and activities that support communities in the Kenyan Coast Region to respond to the gaps in the realization of their rights to own, manage and use their land and other land-based natural resources including historical injustices, the ineffective legal environment, poor land administration and governance, lack of political goodwill, gender-based discrimination and the perceived ignorance amongst the people.
